This is a role where the right candidate can work with Sr. Consultants and learn the ropes from the ground up in a top flight Service based organization. Your technical expertise and experience could land you a permanent position.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Build, rack, and cable servers

Load and initialize operating system, storage volume groups, etc.

Configure network services (minimal)

Configure network printers

Migrate data

Create documentation

Test solutions implemented

Provide knowledge transfer to clients (informal setting)

Develop additional skills and competencies as required

Adhere to methodologies and policies

Complete assigned work within timeframe and budget

Travel to client site as needed

Provide sales support in developing service solutions for clients

Key Responsibilities:

Training / skill enhancement

Sales support

Service offering development / refinement

Planning, preparation, and administration

Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

2-3 years Unix IBM AIX experience

Storage area network experience a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written

Work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner

Desktop productivity/documentation tools MS-Office

Manage own time and schedule effectively

IBM, HP or similar certifications a plus

30-50% travel is possible

Actual experience with Lyris ListManager development would be very desirable.   We are on version 9.X, but experience with any version would be a plus. The scripting language used in it is TCL, so familiarity with that would be very helpful.

All candidates should have the following attributes:
