Visual C++ Lead Developer. Direct hire in Richmond, VA
Join a Global Corporation whose goal is to move to a .NET (C#) platform. As a lead Visual C++ developer, your will provide expertise on a corporate project that is core to their business and has high visibility. This solution will be rolled out world-wide to all client locations. This project involves the conversion of a 4th GL device that interfaces with mainframe and client-server systems. This is just one of a number of new development projects slated for this company. The development platform is Visual Studio 6.
Moderate travel will be required
Required skills;
Solid Visual C++ development skills
Strong skills with Visual Studio 6.
Oracle database with strong PL/SQL (stored procedures)
Ability to mentor other developers.
Strong analytical skills
Must be US Citizen
Desired skills:
Clearcase
Exposure to C# is a big plus.
